Exhibition Inquiry! How the world works!

As we are an IB World School that has the Primary Year Programme as its core approach to teaching and learning, Grade 6 students will be participating in a significant event this year. Students in their final year of the PrimaryYears Programme are expected to carry out an extended, collaborative inquiry with the guidance of their teachers and then share this experience with the whole school community. The Exhibition represents a significant event in the life of both the students and school.

The students follow an investigation into an area of interest that links to How the World Works, students will take meaningful action based on the big understandings they have developed. Through the French sessions, the students have been exploring natural disasters that have occurred in French speaking countries. As part of the inquiry focus, the students researched specific natural disasters and have written a reflective piece considering the challenges that one might face. We will consistently be adding work samples from the inquiry phase to the blog.
